Airport Renovation
In order to maintain the impressive growth the Triangle region and Raleigh-Durham International Airport have recently experienced, this phase of work at Terminal 1 is a continuation of a recent major renovation to the terminal. The scope of design services provided included design and construction administration services for demolition, renovation, and new infrastructure components. LOCATION: Morrisville, NC. SIZE: 4,678 s.f. (renovation and addition). COST: $7,974,000 (construction cost). CLIENT: Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. NOTE: Alabi Architecture was Associate Architecture Firm with Clark Nexsen DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Demolition of the north and south concourses, addition of new interior and exterior finishes at demolition lines, new security fencing, new sidewalks, new gas line, new chiller, beacon relocation, elevator renovations, new landscaping, new roads, and new telecommunications duct bank.
